I was in 0.9.7.3 with minification on, without any issues (the plugin had been running fine for over a year).

Updated to 0.9.7.4 and minification no longer works. The minified files are saved in /wp-content/cache/minification, however the pages themselves don’t load them (404 error — the URL doesn’t match the one of the generated files). I’ve reloaded nginx.

Then what I did was revert to 0.9.7.3 and it was still broken, so had to disable minification altogether.

Update, I could make 0.9.7.3 work again by manually copying the Nginx rules from the Installation tab in W3C.

When on 0.9.7.4 this doesn’t work.

    Hello,

    Please re-install the plugin.
Make sure to delete the following in your WP-content folder:
    1. Cache folder
    2. w3tc-config folder
    3. upgrade folder
    4. advanced-cache.php
    5. object-cache.php
    6. db-cache.php
Also, backup your .htaccess, remove all rules between #begin w3tc and end w3tc.
    Reinstall the plugin.
