Minify and Combine JS and CSS to Only Minify

    Hi,

    I am using W3 Total Cache on my website. When setting it up, I chose “Combine and minify” in both JS and CSS minify settings. Now, I want to change both settings to “Minify Only”, but the page breaks and shows “502 Bad Gateway Error: nginx”.

    “Preserved comment removal”, “line break removal” and “HTTP/2 Push” are activated on that tab and properly working when using “Combine and minify” option. I tried to disable them when chaning to “Minify Only”, but I cannot disable “HTTP/2 Push”. Anyways, the page breaks and shows “502 Bad Gateway Error: nginx” regardless of the active options.

    Can someone help me?

    I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.

    We do have a GitHub issue open for this bug. Please make sure to check the progress of the issue, as it will be fixed in the upcoming releases.
    For the time being, please completely remove W3TC and re-install it, and avoid using HTTP/2 push for the time being.

    Hi @vmarko,

    Thanks for your prompt response. I have checked the GitHub issue you linked, but I do not have the knowledge to understand it. Anyways, according to your response, I assume that the issue is going to be fixed on the next plugin update. When it will be approximately released? If it is not so long, I can wait for it without removing W3TC.

    We are working on the next updated which will be released mid January.
    I would advise removing and re-installing the plugin just in case.
