Minify causes strange change in font

  • Hi, using 0.9.4.1; I noticed that whenever I turn minify on and reload the site, the fonts all over my site (except a small numbe of widgets) change from our original font and size to some kind of times roman font. This is recreatable- it happens every time, even when I flush all components of w3cache and try it on several different browsers. Why is this?

    See image below- at the bottom – the normal font; and at the top, what happens to all texts with minify turned on. We are using Designwall’s focus theme.

  • Hello rsspanic,

    Fact is that not every script/css plays nicely with minification and/or changing file position from header to footer.
    I’m guessing that those are fonts from Google Web Fonts – so their CSS files should be excluded from minification in “Never minify the following CSS files:” in Minification settings.
