• If disable auto file length check box is ticked and you mess with the filename length text box bad things happen. lots of
ERR_CONTENT_LENGTH_MISMATCH from front end and styles and js dont load.

“File name length is only applicable when minify is in auto mode and file name length testing is enabled. “

Is not true if you change this from the default 140 and have the disable auto length checkbox ticked it will break caching completely

as soon as I changed it back to 140 it worked again as normal. What you type in the filename length box is not ignored.. check code

  • Yes, the same thing with my site. It is loading slow when I am logged into WordPress. When I check my sites error log in cPanel there are several apache(36)file name too long errors, at least 2 a day.

    Hello marketsys & lmoore11608

I can confirm the issue when I tested in a nginx server. Could you please create a bug report from Dashboard > Performance > Support so that it can notify the developer? ??

    Have a good day!

    Cheers
    Ash
