    Hello all!

I ran my WordPress site through GTmetrix and Pingdom. Both have come up with around 50 redirect chains that appear to be malware ads. I cannot find where these would be coming from to save my life. I have seen other forums around with people having the same problem, but have not found an answer. I would appreciate if anyone could shed some light on this.

As a note, I have disabled all plugins and ran the report to see if it was a plugin causing the problem, and that came back negative.

    Thanks!

    Hi
What’s the website you are having problems with as that might help?

    Hi
You seem to have some issues that should be fixed. Google Developer tools press F12, it won’t be causing that problem but it is an easy fix.

The warnings that are showing could be the problem.

You need to add extra security as well, I use HTTP Headers.

    Which pages shows the ads?

That seems to be my problem. I do not see the adds anywhere. I cannot figure out where they are coming from or why they appear in my reports.

You still have mixed content issues that need to be fixed.

So how do you know then you have ads everywhere? What pages?

I have a note into our developer to fix the mixed content issues. I tried the other day with no progress.

Take a look at the redirects listed in the report. They don’t have anything to do with my site, but if you Google the domains for several of them, they are listed as malware ads that typically attach to a browser.

Can you install the plugin Theme Check and see what that comes up.

I installed it on localhost and it’s giving all kinds of warnings. Although it could just be the version I downloaded….

Just installed and ran Theme Authenticity Checker (TAC) and there’s Encrypted Code Found!

Also in the functions file there’s a link to https://www.koxford.com/ ?

This theme loads quite a number of javascript files

I apologize for my lack of knowledge, this is my first time working so deep with a WP site that was set up rather poorly… I do not know what any of that means haha.
