    epc-taxonomy-metabox.min.js conflicts with Yoast SEO plugin in admin, prevents render of Yoast SEO content optimization fields.

    This function call seems to be the source of the conflict in epc-taxonomy-metabox.js (line 226):
    $( _.values( taxonomies ) ).initYstSEOPrimaryCategory();

    As a solution, I removed the EPC plugin and re-tooled my theme to use Yoast Primary Category.

    Sorry for the delayed reply.

    If you’re using Yoast SEO plugin, you don’t need this plugin as this plugin’s functionality is already covered in Yoast SEO plugin. I don’t use any SEO plugins on any of the sites I develop, since I make sure the theme I write takes care of it all, so had to make this plugin replicating primary category functionality.
