Minimum order quantities and product details

  • Hello – I am rather new to the ecommerce part of wordpress and am looking for some feedback.

    I am working on an ecommerce site that has some unique product specifications. Let me explain — when a user adds something to their cart, the minimum order quantity is 25, so I want a drop down that shows 25 pack with the price, 50 pack with the price, 75 pack with the price, etc… However, they also have the option to order a sample, which is 1 piece at a higher price.

    Can someone please provide a recommendation on a theme or if there are any plugins that can accomplish this? Thank you!

  • which ecommerce plugin are you using? Woocommerce, jigoshop, wordpress e-commerce or something else perhaps?

    I haven’t picked one yet — I was leaning towards woocommerce, but am just seeing what capabilities all have and what would be my best option.
