Minimum Role Checkboxes not displaying

    Hello, since updating to WP 5.7 I have an issue where I get the option to select the menu options to be for logged in users / logged out users or all users but no option to select which roles the rules apply to underneath. Is there a fix for this? Thanks

    You didn’t mention if you were in the Customizer or the admin menu area, but in both cases you must select “logged in users” for the roles to display (since only a logged in user can have a role).

    I have WP 5.8 and cannot reproduce an issue where I can’t access the roles checkboxes.

    If you are selecting logged in users and the roles do not appear, you likely have a script error. Please check your browser’s console for errors so you can try to resolve them. You may also want to go through some debugging and try switching to a default theme, and then disabling plugins one at a time.

    Hi @helgatheviking apologies for the slow reply. This was within the admin menu section, I already had tried the browser console but nothing displayed, I did not think of trying via the customizer section though. I did this and it has worked! so thanks for this, if I figure out which plugin is conflicting in the backend admin section I will let you know.
