Minimum role not taking effect

Hi there!

Love the simplicity of the plugin – thanks for creating it!

I’m running into a bit of trouble with the roles. I may be misunderstanding the functionality, but as a logged in administrator, I can’t see a navbar menu item who’s minimum role I’ve set to contributor.

I can, however, see the menu item if I set the item’s role to contributor and administrator.

By setting the minimum role to contributor, shouldn’t an administrator be able to see it without explicitly granting them the role, too?
