    I have Minimum word length to index: 4. But there a few two to three letters words which I really need to search. Could that be done somehow? I thouht I put it into Synonyms like:

    ic=kontakty
    ico=kontakty

    but it doesnt work – to search for “ic” – it gives me “not here what you are searching…”

    Thank you.

    Are you using AND or OR search? Notice that synonyms only work in OR search. I just tried this on my test blog and even if I set the minimum word length to 4, a 3-letter synonym still works. The minimum word length is not enforced at that point.

    Thank you! I had there AND (this was probably default if not wrong)

    well, now I find, that OR gives to many unrelevant results. I have to come back to an AND and leave synonyms feature. If there is a possibility to make this works even with AND, that would be great…

    Unfortunately that is simply not possible, because the synonym feature is based on adding more words to the search query. Well, Relevanssi could allow for complex boolean searches like “(mouse OR mice) AND trap”, but that’s getting a bit too complicated for me to do.
