I once installed this plugin miniorange. I no longer see it listed amongst my plugins on WordPress. However, it is listed on Godaddy’s site where my plugins are listed. How do I remove it if I can’t find it amongst my WordPress plugins?

    Hi @dplsurve,

Please let us know the reason behind removing our 2FA plugin.

Can you please go to the plugin’s directory folder (generally wp-content/plugins) and check if the miniOrange-2FA plugin exists or not using FTP or cPanel?
If you didn’t find the plugin there, please check if it is available at wp-content/mu-plugins or any custom path that you have set for must-use plugins.

All the plugins will be listed in either of directories.

Our team can help you set up 2FA on your site.
Please raise a query through our support form which you can find in our plugin dashboard so that we can have a screen share to help you resolve this.

    Thank you,
    miniOrange Team

I was having problems with perhaps having too many plug-ins activated and I assumed that this one was part of the issues.

    Thanks

    Hi @dplsurve,

Please search the folder name miniOrange-2-factor-authentication in the mu-plugins or plugins folder instead of the wp-content folder.

You can rename the plugin to disable it. Check once if the issue that you were facing still exists after disabling the plugin.

Let us know in that case if there is any issue is from our end.

    Thank you,
    miniOrange Team.

Ok, I renamed it. I think it may be a good idea to maybe delete it completely from the wp-content folder and re-install it sometime later.

    Any advice on this?
