Miniva Live Demo Replica

Hello,
I would simply like to replicate the Miniva Live Demo example of blog posts on the home page with some text above.

I have tried Flex Posts plugin as well as many other plugins and I cannot seem to get the blog posts to be listed in an esthetically-pleasing manner.

Can you assist me in figuring out how to make my blog post listings look similar to your demo?
