I opened this new ticket, to be able to refer to a different site (the fresh one), and to put it all together:

I did set-up fresh installation (including woocommmerce, theme = twenty twenty-one, no other plugins), and it is as follows:

    Background images: working now

animations: still a bit strange, opening the page first time on a fresh browser (e.g. chrome), then animated objects do occur, but starting with a double flash. When refreshing the page, animated objects do only occur after scrolling the page a bit (thus animation do not start without scrolling in that case)

Extras (Z-Index): Working in the editor view, but not outside (the blob image should be fully in front, but it does not)

Margin settings: e.g. shift right (via left margin setting) is working, but different for different blocks. A paragraph is truncated on the right, an image not (and that is how it should be)

  • Hi,

Animations: I can duplicate this issue on my local installation using Edge. I’ve already reported this to the development team.

    Z-index: I did the following:
    – I Created two columns block: the first has a background image and the second has a background color.
    – Inserted an image into the first column and gave it left margin as you did in your website.
    – I had set the a-index of the image to 1.

The image appeared over the second column as expected. Can you give me further guidance on how to replicate this issue?

Margin settings: This is how the browser works in these cases. So, I don’t think that we can change that with the current features/styles that Ediptr plus offers.

Regarding the z-index: After further testing I recognized that the issue is related to the animation feature (had that on with the image), turning that off z-index is working outside the editor

    @vallered,

Thank you for your collaboration. I’m able to reproduce the issue on my local installation and I have reported it to the development team so that they fix it.

After your update today animation seems to work right, but z-index in case animation for the same element is activated, does still not work properly

    Hi,

The latest update doesn’t include a fix to this issue. I will notify you once we fix it.

    Thanks.

    Update:

The animation issue has been closed as it’s not reproducable on the latest WordPress and Editor Plus versions.

The z-index issue is still in progress.
