Misc Issues

  • Looking good – Some issues with the following items.

    * Autoplay reverts back to 5000 after saving with a custom timeout.
    * Excerpt: field is showing up *as* the “tail” content (e.g., default of 12)
    * Color picker works but is somehow dimmed? (EDIT: It’s only dimmed when there’s just a single category)
    * Stage Padding also does not hold its user settings

    Kelter thanks. I’ve added these bugs to the github repository and I’ll fix them this evening. Thanks for testing it and providing the feedback.

    Nope – functions as it should ?? I guess it was just confusing to click first into the color wheel and have it remain dim.

    Aw the lack of holding values was do to a change in naming conventions made mid project from camel case to underscores and not all the option labels were updated.

    I pushed the changes for settings page.

    Originally the color picker was faded to indicate you can’t use it since you haven’t selected a category. I could do the following…

    1. Place a dialog box over the color wheel with instruction.
    2. Hide the color wheel until click and slide/fade it in.
    3. If no input is selected on click set the focus to the first input

    Thoughts?

    Ethan – looks good here!
    Settings are correctly working now.

    I’d suppose #2 “Hide the color wheel until click and slide/fade it in.” might be better in the long haul if folks have lots of categories so it’ll keep the settings section vertically tight. Assume the wheel would pop over/next to the input field?
