Misc procedures for adding images to galleries, galleries to albums errors

  • This might be due to my try things then read the directions nature but what I’m doing should work

    Creating a new gallery & uploading picscauses Error Exclamation point when embedding gallery on a page

    1.Create gallery via ‘Manage Galleries’ + ‘Add New Gallery’
    2.Upload pics via ‘Add Gallery/Images’ + Select Gallery from Drop down + Add files + Upload files

    Adding pics to a gallery that works when embedding gallery on a page

    1. Create Gallery inside the Add ‘Gallery/Images’ Add files + Upload files

    I’ve got more but I have to confirm. If you are reading this please try it and post results.

    Thanks for your report. My guess is that thumbnail generation is failing on your site for some reason. If you view the gallery by navigating to “Manage Galleries” -> “Click on gallery name”, and scroll down to the list of images in that gallery, do your thumbnails display?

    There’s some issues that are faster to resolve by us logging in and inspecting how the code is being run. If you’re willing, would you mind sending us temporary WordPress and FTP credentials using our bug submission form please? I’ll be sure to let you know of my findings.

    I am having the same problem with thumbnails not showing when I upload a new file. Thumbnails show for any existing files in an album but when I go to add a new file to an already existing album, it says it’s uploading fine but it won’t show the thumbnail at all. I haven’t altered the code at all so it should be fine…
