"Misconfigued App" in Facebook

  • When I Share a post to Facebook the Facebook post says “Shared by WordPress [?]”. The text WordPress links me to a Facebook page that says “Misconfigured App
    Sorry, the details for WordPress cannot be displayed because the app is misconfigured”

    and the “[?]” is a link with the hover text “Only people who manage this page can see who posted”. I manage the page and yet it does not show me who posted.

    Are there settings that I need to change so that the post reflects the app that posted and the user (e.g. page name)?

    Hi Garrett! Could you please provide me with a link to a few of the posts in question? It would be helpful if you could include links to the posts on your site, as well as links to the corresponding posts on Facebook. Just let me know, and I’d be happy to look into this further!

    Thanks! Here’s the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/SigmaChiZetaXi with the posts I referenced. The WordPress site they were published from via the scheduler is https://www.zetaxihousecorp.org. We advance schedule the posts.

    See the first post on each page and the following ones. Only six or so posts.

    Thanks for the additional info, Garrett! We’re currently looking into the issue, and I’ll let you know as soon as I have more information.

    EDIT I noticed that the message “Posted by WordPress (?)” is only visible when I am logged in to the page but but when logged out or the public. Dunno if that helps
