• A client had bought the pro version of this plugin, so I used it rather than developing forms from scratch. I was helping him make his site GDPR compliant, & forms are a definite part of that. Ultimately, there was only 1 thing I absolutely could not do, ie, move a field. However, most of the links were poorly titled, & there were unlabeled buttons as well. The result was that working w/forms became an excruciating exercise in trial-&-error. Because the developers have written a forms plugin, & the importance of good form labels cannot be overemphasized, it surely was a disappointment. It’s definitely not even close to being A11Y ready. I gave the plugin ** because, despite the really awful experience, I still think it has a great deal of potential. But if you’re visually impaired, this is definitively 1 to skip. I really hope these developers will develop a more accessible version, & I would certainly be willing to offer any assistance they might require. I am reachable on Slack.

    Hi Jackie,

I’m sorry to hear you had a bad experience while building forms with a screen reader. We’ve focused our time in this area on the front end forms, and we are pleased that the forms work very well for visitors with screen readers.

But we haven’t yet spent much time on the form builder page in regards to a11y. Thanks so much for the feedback!
