I’m terribly sorry if we were confusing in any way. Muut is 100% free; unlimited users, posts, topics, channels—forever. No one has to pay a dime to use Muut. ?? We do have premium subscriptions that have additional features, but they are by no means required, and the free version is what most of our communities use—our own forum on our website is the free version, in fact.
When you start a forum, it does start in “trial” mode, so that all of the premium features are unlocked (no credit card or anything required). At the end of the 14-day trial, it automatically reverts to the free version—no funny business. We definitely don’t want things to be confusing for users, and we actually place great importance on our transparency.
