WOWSlider is free for non-profits. Information about licenses and diferences between free and purchased versions was added many times on our website too.

Yeah you weren’t lied to. And not everything is free… you have to expect developers to make money doing this.

Free version of WOWSlider provides all features and options of purchasing version except “Watermark” option. It has not any other limitations in time or functionality. Support is free too.
It’s possible to use free versions on non-profits websites only. Watermark or other type of back link is usual thing for this type of sites.
