• We were looking for an events calendar to add a schedule for our pages for bands. This sounded perfect, but after downloading and installing we discover the only way you can insert a calendar in a post or page is to buy the Pro version. We have used hundreds of plugins and all of them include shortcodes. Disappointing.

    Hi @checmark,

I’m sorry we let you down.

Embedding the calendar via a shortcode is indeed a premium feature not included in our free, core offering … however I don’t believe we suggest otherwise.

Given the title of your review (“Misleading”) can I ask if there are specific examples of messaging you found to be deliberately misleading? If there are, I’d certainly like to review them and see if we can clear things up.

I agree with ChecMark. I installed the plugin also looking to be able to embed a calendar throughout my site only to find, after wasting an hour of my time, that embedding via shortcode is a premium feature. That’s the sort of information that should be provided up front. Misleading by omission.
