• The plugin works fine, and you get access to a dashboard which is easy to use. Still I spent a lot of time setting this up for a client, now it just suddenly reached maximum words like VERY fast, and I read afterwards that it translate when visitors visit each page. It is just misleading, because i thought it translated and counted everything right away. Instead now we are forced to pay or start over with something else.

Still a great plugin, but it feels like the free version is of small use since words translations wrap up insanely quick for my small website.

When maximum word count is reached it just stop working so nothing is translated at all. When I click the language toggle button, it just disappears

Hi, Weglot Support here, we hope you are having a great day.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write a review.

It seems that your experience with our product can be improved, and we’d be glad to help you, the best we can, improve your experience with our product.

Regarding the behavior you described, I confirm that using Weglot, your translations are generated progressively which explains why your word count may increase over time until all your content gets translated.

In your case, if I understand correctly, you’ve reached your current limit of translated words on your plan. If this is the case, note that we are also providing some features that can help you to easily optimize your translations and therefore, reduce your word count.

If you’re interested in trying those features, don’t hesitate to contact our team at [email protected] and ask for Guillaume, he’s one of our engineers, so he can personally take care of your demand.

    Best,

    The Weglot Team
