• I paid $90 and it’s still pending in my account for almost a week now. I call the number and it hangs up. I have not gotten any confirmation email yet either. This is for sure a scam. This needs to be resolved with me immediately or I will get lawyers involved. I run a website that is an actual business. I trusted it because it was suggested through Autoptimize but I will be removing that plugin as well. There is no contact information to get your money back within 14 days and that is how they “keep” your money. Anyone who leaves a good review is either their friend or someone they likely paid to say good things about it. I am on the phone with my bank waiting to speak to someone about this merchant.

Update: So my bank told me they did not set up a recurring payment. Which is what I paid for the Annual $90. This is done by merchants that are usually involved in fraudulent activity. By doing it this way, they can arbitrarily take out money throughout the year as it is authorized by the person or company that originally purchased their product. The number 18445980078. At the time of writing this when I call the number, it is an automated message that says “Thanks for the call, configure your voice URL to change this message, let us know if we can help you in any way during your development.” Then it immediately hangs up. There is no way of contacting them and my bank has instructed me to get a new payment method which I have done. If you have gotten anything from them or a charge and cannot get your money back I suggest you contact your bank immediately and close that card and get a new one. This and all things said by me above is in no way legal advice as I am not an attorney, but am speaking with one. If you look at the top reviews you will see there is multiple by the same author.

Just saw a reply. It wants me to log in which I cannot. The only record of my transaction with you and me is through my bank. You have never sent me a confirmation email but have charged me. I followed the link and sent a message with the last four of my card which is all you need to identify me and refund my money.

    hey geekimpulse ;
I’m Frank, developer of Autoptimize. Shakeeb is likely asleep by now (he’s on IST if I’m not mistaking), but allow me to jump in the convo.

I don’t own or work for rapidload.io myself, but I’ve been in contact with Shakeeb for over a year, seeing them build their product and I have full confidence in them, to the extent that I will personally repay you if this does not get clarified (which I am sure it will).

Feel free to contact me at futtta-at-gmail-dot-com if/ when needed!

    have a nice day,
    frank

    Hello again geekimpulse,

Look – I’m going to level with you. I understand that there are bad people on the internet that are out to take advantage of others… and that perhaps your knowledge of their existence leads you to believe that when something doesn’t look right, you must be getting screwed.

You must have been taken advantage of before… why else would you leave this scathing, “It’s a scam!” review before you even reached out to us for support? I feel for you, geekimpulse.

The reality? This is not a scam. RapidLoad a premium service run by people that stand behind their product & go above and beyond for their customers 100% of the time.

    Let me address your concerns:

    – Why was the phone number not answered?
When we set up our payment processor, we have to provide a phone number. At this time, we do not offer phone support, we’re building out our docs & providing email support via support tickets. The phone number will show up in your credit card statement, though, which is where you must have seen it. We didn’t realize this and will be taking adjustments so this doesn’t confuse anyone in the future.

    – Your bank’s assessment of the recurring payment
You signed up for an annual plan, your next billing date would have been exactly one year from the date you signed up. I’m not really familiar with the fraudulent practices your banker described to you, but it seems that they’re way off base in this instance.

    – Multiple reviews by the same author
I think you’re a bit confused as to who “authored” a review versus who “replied” to a review. You’ll see the same name as the “last reply” on multiple reviews because often, I am the last one to have replied to them. This does not mean they were posted by the same person. In fact, no person has posted more than one review – go check it out for yourself!

Your money has already been refunded. Good luck out there, geekimpulse!

I have been contacted and an email was sent to me saying that there is a refund coming back to me. I have had good experiences with Autoptimize so I do not have bad things to say with regards to them other than I Trusted RapidLoad because of Autoptimize. I run a business and to be honest I would not ever recommend Rapidload to anyone and all the excuses above about the phone number issue etc.. sounds like excuses and a way to do damage control. I will update here once I have received my full refund. I will not say anything more and I would encourage this company to be more transparent, accessible, and have better customer service. I do not recommend them in any way. With that being said, I do wish them luck and I hope this situation will help them grow and flourish in the future.

We’ve reviewed what went wrong and updated the process in place to better handle cases in the future. Although we regret the tone of your reaction, we’re happy to have improved the service for others moving forward.

@geekimpulse have you received your full refund yet?
