Mismatched “post_max_size” and “upload_max_filesize” values.

Just ask your hosting provider to fix the problem. For me it was solved quickly with bluehost.

WordPress 5.5.1 has been released and fixed this Site Health message. It will no longer appear when there is in fact nothing wrong with your PHP configuration.

For those wanting to know the proper values: memory_limit should be larger than post_max_size, and post_max_size should be larger than upload_max_filesize.

I have updated to version 5.5.1, but the problem still appears on my site (https://mutiaradakwah.com), but when I update to version 5.5.1 on my test site the problem doesn’t appear, why?

I have a similar problem that just occurred recently although I haven’t changed any settings. In my case, the message reads: The “post_max_size” value is smaller than “upload_max_filesize”. However, I checked my php.ini file and the value was the same for both. I increased the value for “post_max_size” (within the memory limit which the ISP does not allow to change) as @spartelfant suggested but the problem remains. I have the latest version of WordPress (5.5.1).
Like @diondesigns I think it’s a bug with Site Health. How do we report bugs?

It must have been corrected by WP.

@moosetrax I’m happy for you but it still appears in my Site Health Status, so I don’t think WP corrected that. I’m happy ignoring it since it doesn’t seem to affect anything.
