    Hi FS Team,

Thanks for the great pluggin, used it for several years (Pro and locations) and I liked the plugin’s powerful conditional settings, able to set rule that meet my requirements for 99%

After the recent major update, some thoughts from a long time user and believe this will be a steady business for the development team:

1.Is it possible to go back to the old interface style, like a table display of the rules? As it is faster to edit and easier to read. I know the new interface is suppose to be more “New User” friendly, but the logical rules underneath are not changes, so the learning curve is still the same.

    2. Is it possible to add the “or” rule, not sure if this will collapse the whole thing. Currently the “or” relation and “and” rules are not clearly stated and seems to be fix for certain functions, I have to learn by trial and error.

    Hi @jasonwutt,

Thank you for your feedback. We really do appreciate it, especially when it comes directly from our plugins’ long-time user. We decided to redesign the table interface not only to make it more approachable for the new users but also to open the door for the further development. The previous version was limiting us in these terms and now we are able to implement many new features the Flexible Shipping users asked us about. I believe I can give you a little sneak peek that one of them will be the ‘OR’ conditioning you’ve just mentioned.

However, if you don’t like the new interface and want to keep the older one, you can simply rollback the plugins and use their previous releases – pre 4.0.0 for Flexible Shipping and pre 2.0.0 for Flexible Shipping PRO and Locations. Here you can find some more informations how to do it step-by-step:

    Kind regards,

Thank you @lusp for the awesome updates to the plugin. I do agree with @jasonwutt though, the new interface is hard to work with from a UI perspective. Might I suggest a minor adjustment to the interface? https://snipboard.io/LR408M.jpg

I have nearly 250 rules due to different weight prices… this will make it much easier to read and manage. Thank you in advance!

    Hi @michoscopic,

Yes, we’re fully aware of that it might be challenging to manage so many rules at this point. That’s why there’s an upcoming update containing some additional table UI tweaks which should be released after the New Year. We’ll keep you updated on this matter and let you know when it’s published.

    Kind regards,
    Luke

That’s awesome! Looking forward to it. Thank you so much for this plugin!

Happy new year to you and your team @lusp
