    I am pretty sure this message has nothing to do with tao-schedule-update.

    Could you post a screenshot of your list of posts from your admin dashboard showing this text and the set release date for those posts.

    This seems to be a mix of weird circumstances.
    You are using the WordPress builtin schedule funktionality for unpublished posts and on top you scheduled a change with tao-schedule-update.

    Since tao-schedule-update creates an exact copy of your original post it also copies the wordpress schedule date.

    To prevent this, first save your original post as draft, then create a scheduled update, and lastly set the publishing date via wordpress for your original post.
