Missed Schedule in wordpress 2.9.2

The scheduling bug in 2.9 was removed in 2.9.1.

I’ve got the same bug. There are reports of it in multiple places, and yet I see no attention to it from WordPress. Disappointing.

Unfortunately I am in the same boat as I recently upgraded to 2.9.2 and all posts are now missing schedule despite modifying the cron.php as mentioned in another post in this forum as well as activating the Scheduled M.I.A;s plugin. Neither solution has made any difference.

Is WordPress aware of this issue? How long do they normally take to fix something like this?

I’m having the same problem with WP 2.9.2.
It seemed to work OK in 2.9.1 but it’s broken again.

That’s a good bit of congruity, yet I still see *no* response from WP.

I’ve installed the Scheduled MIA posts plugin – it worked fine, but caused conflicts. Posts that WP missed MIA Posts would force through, but it broke my LJXP plugin and disconnected my link to LJ.

When I activate Scheduled MIA, it forces through posts, but they don’t get pushed through to LJ.

The whole mess is just silly, and I think it’s shameful that WP hasn’t gotten it resolved. I’ve been plagued with these missed posts for 3 versions now!

I’m in the same boat as you guys, have modified the cron.php and activated the plugin Scheduled M.I.A’s and still every scheduled post is missing schedule. Has anyone found an answer outside of this forum?

This is me! The post I scheduled to publish this morning was “missed” and not only do I have to manually publish my posts, but my WP to Twitter plug-in no longer works.

We’ve recently moved our blog to our own in-house servers and since then, our scheduled posts are being missed by wordpress. The version we are using in both environments is 2.9.2 and is working at our shared virtual server provider but not in our in-house servers.

I believe the problem is with the feedburner plugin. I was able to schedule posts in advance until I installed and activated feedburner. Now nothing seems to work.
The problem could also have something to do with my use of a non standard directory.
“www.mydomainname.com/nameofmyblog/”

WordPress 2.9.2 Scheduled Posts not working

I have just aupgraded to the latest version of word press 2.9.2. Not of my posts will schedule, but thay will publish ok.

Has anyone got any answers to this please. I had this problem before with an older version of wordpress and it was fixed. This does anoy me though each time you upgrade there is a problem with something nt working.

I would appreciate a fix for this please as this now affects my business.

Hi all .. i searched a lot online and got it working by adding the following code in the wp-config.php , but the main question is that y the scheduling stops by itself ????? Hope the moderators may help us in this regard.

hi all … just visit here and download the 3 files and upload to your wp-includes directory . It worked for me …. i had some problems using

define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true);

as post t o twitter was not working for scheduled posts…

what i dont get is how it was fixed in 2.9.1 but now broken again in 2.9.2?!
gonna try this plugin and see if it works from the post above this

It was said to have been fixed in 2.9.1 but I don’t think so.

Anyone else still having issues with ‘missed scheduled post‘ posts?

I tried various suggestions including fixes for http.php, cron.php etc. to no avail?
