• Using WordPress version 3.1.3

This is the first time I’ve experienced posts “Missed Schedule”

I only have a few plugins.

    I have done the following:

    – deactivated all plugins.

    – reset the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin.

    – switched to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

Result being, on each and every occasion of the above, “Missed Schedule”

This is not plugin or theme specific, therefore, there must be an issue with WP 3.1.3

  • I’ve regularly schedule posts in 3.1.3 and rarely ever have a problem. The only time I did was when the hosts had been carrying out server updates.

    Thank you, Esmi

I’ve never experienced this problem till now.

So, what happened then, regarding when your hosts had been carrying out server updates.

Did you have to do anything, or did it just correct itself.

By the way, I’ve tested 2 more scheduled posts today and still the same “Missed Schedule” outcome.

I just published the posts. I’ve since scheduled whole batches of posts without any problem.

    Just to add the Link:

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin.

Did anyone ever figure this out? All my scheduled posts missed schedule this week.

Running 3.2.1 multisite. Having the same issue when trying to schedule posts for a future time: “Missed schedule.”

    Any suggestions?

EDIT: nevermind. I think the problem for me is that the site I was using this on is proxied, and the backend isn’t in DNS.

I’ve just hit this myself for the first time, with WordPress 3.2.1. All my previous scheduled posts have gone out fine. What is going wrong here?

    Thanks,
    Graham

Same issue here. Hitting “Update” again publishes the post, but I like my schedule. Version is 3.3, but it started only a while after my upgrade, iirc.

Encountering the same issue myself…. I thought it was my scheduling calendar – but after some testing – it’s happening when I use the regular WordPress post scheduler too.

using 3.3.1… anyone know any solutions? Or anything else I should troubleshoot?

    Thanks!
    Loreen
