Missing all orders after update Woo

    Hello,

    after updating Woo to 8.5.1 (from 7.9.0), all orders are missing under Woocommerce > Orders.
    We restored a backup into the live shop and tested the whole update in a staging environment – same there > Orders are empty.

    Attached the system status of the staging. There are no messages in the error logs and Woocommerce > logs.

    As a reference, you can check this?GitHub article?to get all WooCommerce orders from your database. Please check to make sure if the data is still on there.

    Also, if you have the order emails, you can check on your payment gateway as well.

    Can you please enable the compatibility mode to check if the issue persists?

    Also, have you checked if all the plugins you have active are compatible with HPOS? You can see this on plugins’s changelog.

    I′ve enabled the compatibilty mode, nothing changes.
    Do I have to activate it before doing the updates?

    Do all plugins or the WooCommerce plugins have to be HPOS compatible? For this one, for example, there is nothing about it in the changelog. https://woo.com/de-de/products/variations-as-single-products-for-woocommerce/

    Is there a way to test it? E.g. to deactivate all other plugins before updating WooCommerce? After the update I already tested deactivating all plugins and activating the default WP theme, this did not fix the error.

    I solved the problem (in the staging)! ??
    Thanks for your support!!

    Here my steps to solving the problem: After activating compatibility mode, I switched “HPOS (Powerful order storage (recommended))” to “storing WordPress posts (old)”.
    After the change, the message appeared under the checkbox for activating compatibility mode that the orders still need to be synchronized and a link to “synchronize xy pending orders”.
    After synchronization, all orders were displayed again (also in HPOS mode).
