Hi, so much trouble using this plugin even after 2 years of using it. Hardly I can use it without some sort of problem ??

Now the same old feed project that works before only generate 700 out of 1400 products.

Only include default product variation: enabled
    Include product variations: enabled

The feed also generated duplicate product row, with exactly the same content.

    Why

I have followed this instruction https://adtribes.io/help-i-have-none-or-less-products-in-my-product-feed-than-expected/

    Enabled WP-Cron
    Disable W3 Total Cache
Deactivate the Product feed pro plugin then activate again

    none of these works.

    Hi,

Are you sure this is not the reason for having less products in your feed than expected? https://adtribes.io/how-to-add-only-one-product-variation-to-your-product-feed/

When you have this option enabled only the default variation of your variable products will be placed in your product feed, so not all variations will make it to your feed. When you have not set a default variation than none of the variations of a product will be in your feed.

When the above is not the cause then you could also try to up the batch size so all products will be processed at once. You should put that number higher than the amount of products you have on your website. Please see: https://adtribes.io/batch-size-configuration-product-feed/

    All the best,
    Eva

I am sure that variation is not the cause, I know the meaning of those settings. Have generated feed multiple time over the 2 years, with the same settings, before this, it will generate 1400 products, now with the same setting and even more products added into the store, it has become 700 products only in the feed plus with duplicate.

Indeed I have the batch size set to 50 only, because it crash my server if I don’t have that setting, so you suggest that I put 1400 ?

Before this, with the batch size setting as 50 it generate full 1400 product feeds successfully though.

just fyi : “You currently have 4591 published products on your website out of which 1518 are simple products and 3073 and variable products”

    Hi esia168,

Yes I suggest you put it on 1400 but if that already crashes your server then I suggest you first up the allowed memory usage of your server.

Hi, maybe I will try on different server. But this doesn’t explain why it generate many rows of duplicate products with exactly ALL the same attributes value. Any idea ?

We haven’t been able to ever reproduce this behaviour ourselves but our guess is that the when a product feed got stuck or is not ready processing yet (which happens with cron or memory issues) and the next update kicks off they start interfering with each other and writing products to the same product feed. That, theoretically, could cause duplicate products.

hi, the same old problem happening again ??

    Product feed stuck at 10%,

    Here is what I did

    followed through this https://adtribes.io/help-my-feed-processing-is-stuck/

Deactivate and activate back the plugin

deactivate cache plugin and 90% of the plugins in test environment

    All does not help.

Most-likely still a Caching or WP-cron issue at your end. Please make sure to flush all caching of your plugin before disabling the caching plugin.

    Hi,

Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved and/or our support is no longer needed I am going to close this topic for now for housekeeping reasons.

For me, this was the fix, indeed the wp cron is not working even it’s enabled in wp-config. I have to use this setting. But why ? I don’t have to use this setting as it’s not the recommended one, it causes redirection.

Add the following line to your wp-config.php file:
    define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true);

    https://wp-mix.com/wordpress-cron-not-working/

    And closing the issue ??

this fix the problem but it also create another problem though, but I guess this is out of scope for this plugin.
