Missing arrows

Have used this plugin on many sites and really love it and on one site the arrows showing that a page has sub-pages have suddenly disappeared.

The parent page has an arrow indicating the sub-pages but the sub-pages are missing the arrows to show their own sub-pages.

This is only on one site which is strange but it does have an Editor. On my copy of the same site everything is as it should be.

Online the pages work as they should and the breadcrumbs show the correct path.

What would the Editor have done to cause this?
