    Hello,

Thank you for your great plugin!

On October 25 I created a full backup of my website, including database, plugins, theme, uploads, and others and the files were successfully exported to google drive in 52 zip files my as upload folder is rather large (16.2gb).

On October 26 I created another backup, this time excluding the mp4 and jpg extensions from upload folder. This was too created and exported to gdrive successfully in 14 zip files.

However, checking google drive today, I noticed the theme zip file, plugins, and the zip files from upload and upload2 are missing from the october 25 backup in google drive. I also checked the trash folder and it was empty. My google drive has a capacity of 100 gb and 80 gb is available.

    What may have happened here?

    Thanks,
    Rob

  • This has happened to me as well. The media files no longer visible either. My site is completely broken

    Hi,

Please could you send us a copy of the latest full backup log?

This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Hi Bryle,

Unfortunately, my October 25 backup does not contain any log file. Please see the screenshot I have uploaded.

    Hi Rob,

It is possible that the backup is no longer available.
Can you please click on the “rescan remote/local” storage link to update the backup list?

    Regards,
    Bryle

    Hi Bryle,

Yes, that was the first thing I did. Scan said file not found.

    Thank you,
    Rob

    Hi Rob,

    Apologies for the late reply.

The backup could have been deleted or removed from your storage.
What is your backup retention rule? It would help us find out the cause of the issue if you could send us a copy of the backup.

    Regards,
    Bryle
