I am currently backing up three websites to Google Drive and they are reported as successful. Although now I have a question after looking at the backups on Google Drive: although Updraft shows ten daily backups for two of the websites, I only see three backups on Google Drive. Not sure what I’m doing wrong? Temp admin access is user updraftsupport p/w support.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The backup set consists of a number of .zip and .gz files. These will all be identified by the same timestamp, site name and random character string.

The naming scheme is as follows:
    backup_<YEAR>_<MONTH>_<DAY>-<TIME>_<Site Name>_<12 random characters>-<Section of the backup>.[zip/gz]
    e.g.: backup_2018-11-19-1839_WordPress_d59089f8ad80-plugins.zip
    backup_2018-11-19-1839_WordPress_d59089f8ad80-themes.zip
    backup_2018-11-19-1839_WordPress_d59089f8ad80-uploads.zip
    backup_2018-11-19-1839_WordPress_d59089f8ad80-db.gz

The exact number of file varies on the size of the site.

Are you seeing the 3 sets of above formats?

    Thanks,
    Harshad

Actually the issue is that Updraft shows ten total backups (I limit to 10) but there are only three on Google Drive, the backup destination. On the drive the backups only go back three days. Thanks for your help.

I do see the multiple files on Google Drive but only three total backups.

    Hi,

    Which backup components are missing?
Are you able to send us a copy of the backup log?
Please use an online tool such as Pastebin or Dropbox and paste the link here.

It seems to be resolving since the newer backups are appearing on Google Drive. I think what happened is that a little while back I found that all my backups for one of the three websites I back up were corrupt and I was directed by support to change the chunk size, which helped. What must have happened is that when I deleted all the backups for the one website that were corrupted, Updraft deleted the backups for all three websites (they are in the same folder on Google Drive). Does this make sense?

Backups for another website are only listed if you used the “Rescan remote storage” facility; this will then list anything in the remote storage (if it’s in the same folder). Yes, if you then select all the backups and delete them, then those other ones would be included.
