    Hello @truncate

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.
I reviewed your site, and it looks like something might be blocking the function that replaces the WooCommerce button with our yellow PayPal button.

You may want to perform a full conflict test to rule out eventual issues with the theme or a different plugin. We recommend temporarily activating the default theme Storefront and disabling all other plugins except for?WooCommerce and?PayPal Payments to see if the behavior persists.

Here’s a guide that explains the steps in more detail: How to test for conflicts

Please let us know how this works out for you.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hi Joost,
Thank you for your quick reply. by deactivating the old paypal plus plugin, the new button appeared ??
however, it unfortunately does not show any SEPA-direct debit or any other alternative payment options.

    Hello @truncate

Other options can show up if PayPal believes the customer making the purchase is eligible for these options. You can see all option that are possible within our plugin on this page, they will become available after PayPal reviews the customer details and decided what payment options should be available for the customer in question.

    Hopefully this answers your question.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hi Joost,
many thanks for your response. Unfortunately, I couldn’t reconstruct the fact that I got sepa debit displayed in any way, but it probably won’t work then…. too bad ??

    Hello @truncate

It might not show for you, but it could show up for your customers. The logic behind when it is shown and when it is not, is managed by the PayPal server, and we can’t really explain the specifics; the main guidance on this is location, but it can be hidden because of other causes as well. You can read more on this topic in this document.

I will mark this thread as resolved, but don’t hesitate to open a new thread if you have any more questions for us.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hey all,

I just wanted to add to this thread in case it helps someone in the future.

I had this plugin working properly on my local machine, but when moving it onto a live server it was not working. The buttons just would not show up on checkout.

After lots of debugging I found out that the plugin was not registering the paypal payment option as “enabled” in woocommerce, even though the little toggle switch was showing “enabled” in my woocommerce payment admin.

I just toggled the paypal payments off and on, and now the buttons are showing for me.
