Missing Category Images

Hey @kris110846,

Looking at the output of your site in Chrome Developer Tools there are no images within the markup of your site indicating that the theme you are using maybe the cause of this as it’s not something which is occurring on any of my test installs of WooCommerce.

Have you tested on your site by disabling all other plugins aside from WooCommerce and switching to a theme like Storefront to try and locate what software you have installed which is causing this behaviour?

Once you have disabled all other plugins and switched theme if the behaviour is resolved you can then enabled your theme and sites plugins testing after each one is enabled until the behaviour returns to locate the culprit.

Thats a bit confusing , as we are using the same theme version Flatsome child 2.8.1 on the live site without the updates to wordpress and woocommerce and all the pictures are showing perfectly, but the live site has some outdated templates as shown below:-

As per my previous reply what you are experiencing is not directly related to the WooCommerce plugin in any way as all other sites which I cross tested on for you display no such behaviour and images display as they should?

Did you perform the tests I suggested on your site as what you are experiencing is isolated only to your specific install?

Yes i did what you suggested and i could see the images that i couldn’t see before. Which only confirms my thinking that when the system was written, some of the core Woo templates and theme files were “customized” and as such with being updated just don’t work properly anymore. The only thing i can think of now to do is to get clean copy of the theme and start again. As it is the live site works okay at the moment, but i can’t update it as it will break.

Is the child theme a theme UX Themes sell for their Flatsome theme? If it is they may have an update available where they have resolved this behaviour within the theme making it compatible with the latest version of WooCommerce.

I will also mark this topic as resolved as both of our cross testing has revealed the behaviour to be due to a theme rather than WooCommerce itself.
