    Hi there

I think I found a small mistake but on the overview page on the dashboard, there are no comma’s between categories.

This is on the dashboard. I translated the plugin to nl_NL & nl_BE so that’s why it has different words at the top ??

    Hello Pieter,

Just so we have a better understanding of the situation, what version of the plugin are you using? I’m on the latest version (2.0.17) and the categories display correctly in the FAQ table. Here’s a screenshot for reference: https://ibb.co/QmrqHbX

Apologies for the late reply but I’m running the latest version indeed.

I’m not sure what the cause could be then. This is definitely not an issue we can recreate or that we’ve had reported from anyone else. And it’s not an issue stemming from our base code for outputting the categories there. We just make use of WordPress’s built-in/default output for custom post types.

My only guess would be that maybe the translation plugin you’re running, or perhaps the translation you said you created, has something that replaces the commas with nothing.

So, where should the string be located? In the pot file of the plugin?

Also, I deleted the translation file and sadly enough, a fresh copy of the translation files still bugs out.

I’m not sure what you’re asking. The main FAQs screen is generated and output by WordPress. It’s a custom post type. It’s not something that we’re outputting in a custom way.

The way to test would be to set the language of your site to English and see then, if, after you assign an FAQ to multiple categories, the comma shows. If so, then you know the issue is with the translation.

Sorry for the extremely late reply…

I deleted the translation files, set my site in English and still not solved.

I even deleted all language files and let WP re-install 5.7.2 again.

I’m not sure what more I can say or do. I can show you a screenshot from the admin FAQs screen on our demo site:

You can see that a couple FAQs are assigned to two categories, which are separated by a comma.

Again, this is just making use of WordPress’s default admin screen/table for posts/post types. There is nothing in our plugin to alter the layout or functionality of this. I don’t know if it has to do with your specific setup or translation, etc., but there is nothing in our plugin to remove commas from the default WordPress output of the taxonomy values.
