I installed a child theme on site after Custom CSS and Javascript WordPress Plugin had been installed by someone else. Have played with deactivation, deleting it, etc and it is still not allowing the standard Dashboard > Appearance > Editor option to show up.
Are their certain files I should look at in my ftp files to delete other than the plugin folder for this? or any other tips? I have currently put the plugin back in and activated, but do not need it and would like to delete, so I have access via dashboard to my editor for child theme css… Hope this makes sense, temp site is at https://16f.2aa.myftpupload.com

  • Hi there,
This plugin shouldn’t affect your Appearance > Editor option; our plugin is not designed to remove the default WordPress theme editor. There must be a different reason why it’s not visible to you. Perhaps the user account you are using doesn’t have the necessary capabilities, or your site is in a multisite install?
