Missing elements of my ShowIt blog template

Blog template shows up correctly in ShowIt, but once I added the blog posts via WordPress and went live, it is missing the featured post block.
This how it should look: https://shemiah-derrick-1.showitpreview.com/blog
Showit’s support said there is nothing showing there because there is no featured category in wordpress. I searched all over wordpress for how to select a featured category and can not figure it out. Can someone help me with this? Thanks!

This looks like a special Showit function. There’s a Set Up Featured Category entry in the theme documentation: https://learn.showit.com/en/articles/6150602-posts-view-lookup-canvas#h_494bbc5fdc
