Missing field “mainEntity”

    I just received the error message from Google Search Console not too long ago on this.

    The page is set to FAQ schema and the questions are expandable/ collapsible so I’m unsure if they are not recognized.

    So far, no critical errors from the Site Health report.

    Could you let us know if you have added a FAQ block to that page? Adding the FAQ block adds the required FAQPage schema data, so not having that FAQ block may cause an error in Google.

    To resolve the issue, we recommend adding a Yoast FAQ block. If that’s not an option at the moment, another alternative is to select the default, WebPage.

    Hi Priscilla,

    That explains why. Well, I didn’t add any FAQ block since I just discovered the FAQ schema recently.

    I think I’ll just stick with the default WebPage schema and save all those hassle.
