We wanted to let you know that we found that Google has changed the way they parse FAQ schema. This is causing an error with the current implementation of the FAQ block in Yoast SEO Premium, despite the fact that our implementation remains valid and correct.

We’re happy to announce, we’ve found a fix for this issue and released a patch for it! We match Google’s expectations again with this patch release.

So please update to the latest version of Yoast SEO 15.9.1 by going to your plugin’s menu and clicking update! You can read a more detailed and technical explanation of what happened in our release post.

If you’ve already updated to the latest version, wait for sometime! Google Search Console will eventually remove the shown error.
