Missing field “mainEntity” on FAQ Block page?!

Ok, I’ve gone through all the other support topics referencing this issue here, and they all say the same:

1) Set the Page Type to FAQ Page (check! viewing the source it clearly shows @type”:[“WebPage”,”FAQPage”])

2) Using the block editor add “Yoast FAQ” block questions and answer (check! did just that)

3) clear all caches/caching plugins (check!)

But Google Schema checker still shows that dreaded “missing field mainEntity” error somehow… what else am I missing?!!

Does your plugin need updating & fixing again?
