    Hello. These 404 errors should occur for every plugin installed on your site that is *not* found in the WordPress plugin repo.

    Unfortunately at this time there is no way to do that. I acknowledge it is not best practice–what should occur is that these network calls should fail without the jarring red 404 errors you’re seeing. It’s been on my to-do list, and I’ll see if I can carve out time for it. But unfortunately I don’t have too much time these days to work on the plugin :-/

    I hope you can fix this sometime. I’ve decided to use Plugins Last Updated Column, version 0.1.1 by Fastmover in the meantime. It shows how old plugins are and colors them if they are old. Maybe you could use some of the code from it if it’s copyright free.
