    Hi,

I want to duplicate my existing website to make some changes on localhost. I follow all steps but when the packages are ready they are small – just 2.61mb. My website is much bigger than this (actually in step 2 – scan it says that files size is 1.47gb).

When I open installer.php via WAMP, the site seems to be installed and then when I go to Final Steps -> Site Login (Login to the administrator section to finalize the setup) I get an error:

    Not Found
The requested URL /mk/index.php was not found on this server.
    Apache/2.4.23 (Win64) PHP/5.6.25 Server at localhost Port 80

    What am I doing wrong?

  • Hey @maciejko,

A few things you might look at:

    1. Check the package log (Tools > Logging) and see if there are any errors
    2. Check to make sure you don’t have any file filters checked or enabled.

    Thanks~

    Hi @corylamleorg

    1. I can’t see any errors there
    2. I have disabled any file filters and archive has the same size as before

    Thanks

It might be a permissions issue. There are a few items on the FAQ that may provide a solution with this issue, this one may get you going.

    ? ? – I get an error/warning about permissions what should I do?
    ? ? – https://snapcreek.com/duplicator/docs/faqs-tech/#faq-trouble-055-q

We also just released a new version you might give that a try… If your still having issues feel free to submit a support ticket and just refer to this forum thread in the ticket…

    Thanks~

I wanted to add to this post. Same issue for me with latest of Duplicator. Been using it for years with no issue, but seems now the package installer is missing a bunch of directories and files (including wp-uploads) which explains the huge difference in package size. Mine too are coning in at around 2-10mb where I know most sites are much larger than that.
