Missing gtag.js switch

    For some reason, I don’t see the setting to switch from analytics.js to gtag.js, as advertised in the recent blog post.

    Hi Gal,
    The option to migrate early to gtag only appears if you’ve not already done the migration and will also not appear on new MonsterInsights installs (as they use gtag from the start).

    I see now. Thank you.

    On a new installation, which uses gtag.js, I’m not seeing any GA4 properties. Connecting to this type of property would be my main reason for switching.

    Is there a way to connect them?

    If not, what’s the plan?

    I’m not seeing any way to use gtag at all. My site only has a gtag and doesn’t show up while trying to connect, and there is no option to search for gtag rather than UA
