• All of H1 tags are missing. It’s look like theme started with H2 tag. I think themes H1 tags are only for header area.
Is there any process to correct this theme?

  • It looks like what happens is on the home page, the h1 tag is the site’s title in the header. But if you click on a blog post, the site title changes to a paragraph tag and then the page’s h1 tag moves to the post’s title. I think this makes sense as you would want your page’s title to be the site title on the home page, but on the other pages you’d want the h1 to be the post or page’s actual title.

The way @lauren described it is the way the theme is designed. It doesn’t need to be “corrected.”

Yes, for search engine indexing, it is recommended that on the home page, the site title is enclosed by h1 tags, and any subtitles on that page are enclosed by h2. On all other pages, the site title should be enclosed by h2 tags, and the page title should be enclosed by h1 tags, since the page title is more important than the site title on individual pages.
