Missing H1 tags

  • I did a site audit and found out that my blog’s Post Titles are not in H1. I then did an Inspect page and realized that the title text is not wrapped in H1 tag. How can I change or adjust that?

    I’d really appreciate simple instructions and explanations. I’m not a professional (no coding experience).

    Regarding the Twenty Twenty-Two theme, I’ve checked it using a test WordPress installation and and at least on individual blog post pages, the title is wrapped in H1 tags.

    I do see that on the default index page containing a list of blog posts, the titles are shown as H2, though this behavior seems to make sense when multiple posts exist on the same page.
