After a couple months of not logging in, I have just discovered that my header is completely missing. I am running Atahualpa theme. The last time I logged in, I set it to update WordPress and themes automatically. I’m assuming the loss took place during the last update. How do I fix this? Also, my sidebar is incomplete and inaccurate, but at least it is present. Here’s the site: https://jazzygourmetblog.com
    Thanks.

  • go to the Header, Center and Footer configuration areas and hit the big Green save button.

Also if you are storing your header inmages in the theme folder, they get wiped out on an update (wordpress does this) but a new option was add awhile back to alow you to store the images outside the theme folder – check the options.

Wow, thanks so much juggledad. I never dreamed it was such an easy solution! And I changed the images folder, so thanks for that tip as well.
