• my header, menus and sidebars are gone (after the last upgrade i think). i cannot get them back. this is NOT good. i cannot afford to use a theme that is going to break the site with an upgrade. unless i can fix this quickly i am forced to move off of this theme. i looked at a few threads as it appears others had some of the issues i had. they’re marked resolved but i didn’t see a straight-froward solution that works for my site. i am not a coder at this point and don’t have the time to dig in too much technical detail. if i have to touch any php file, that is a sign that it is not the right theme for me. pls advise. thanks.

i was able to get the menu and sidebar working. i still have a problem that my header image disappears when i go to a specific post. how can i ensure that the header image shows in all pages, search, blog, etc.? thanks.

So fahr, this seems to be an internal WP issue with the checkbox status (value vs. not-value vs. checkbox checked / not checked).

We are heavily working on solving this issue. There are no issues in normal situations, when only a single condition (IS the value set?) is required. But as soon as it turns into multiple conditions (header image set? site title set? display site title EVEN WHEN the header image is set?), the problems multiply.

A fix should be out in the next few days (read: few = 1 – 3 days).

Has there been any progress on this? I think I’m suffering from the same problem – after upgrade I now have no menu, no widgets and no slideshow. I can manually recreate the menu, but adding widgets to the right sidebar doesn’t seem to work and no amount of fiddling with the slideshow settings seems to get me a slideshow.

    Thanks!

Same question as cassj. What’s the progress on this. No headings, no menu, no widgets. I’ve been struggling with this for over a fortnight, and was relieved to find this forum as I thought it was my problem.
If it’s going to be fixed very soon, is it worth me sitting back and waiting rather than spending hours trying to replace widgets and find original heading photo?

    Same problem: site is https://www.jinksartfactory.ca

The regular menu is displaying but had to be reset after last update. The drop-downs don’t work at all.

There’s extra odd vertical bars near the bottom of the page as well, and ALL the widgets vanished. Every single one of them.

Is there a fix or update? We’ll be moving to a new theme by the end of the week if not.

I have the same issue… Why would the authors make such a change with no warning? I have lost slide, sidebars and menu. Nothing I am doing is bringing them back?

In the customizr settings, it’s showing the changes I have made (slideshow etc) but when I publish, I still get the same bland page.

This is my clients’ website and I am getting grief for it. https://bellesorriso.co.uk

Short heads up: The latest version – 2.0.25 – should be up in the theme directory now. It’s been out for some time, but was quite delayed, because any theme has to be reviewed by the official WP Theme Review team, before it is officially made available in the directory.

Apparently these folks are overloaded with reviews and the redesign of the Theme directory.

Fixes include the nasty header issues, the checkboxes not working properly in some cases, the bloody Customizer not saving anything, improved order in the Customizer (logical, by site structure, not just all over the place), a few security issues, and more.

If all fails – backup your theme settings under CC Settings > Backup & Reset Settings, next on, use the RESET Settings option located at the very same place, test if all works again, and then import your backed up settings, also in mentioned place, to make it LOOK as it did before as well ??

ps: yes, this is going to be added as a how-to to the official documentation as well.
