Missing / hidden posts

Over the last few weeks our contributors/writers for posts have been experiencing issues when clicking on the “submit for review” button. Sporadically these ‘pitch’ posts somehow vanish from the general post edit pages and the user’s list of posts too. They’re not even seen in the calendar or in a search.

When looking in phpmyadmin the blog post can be seen in the database and only when the PublishPress plugin is uninstalled on the site, does the post suddenly become visible – therefore no conflicts appear with other plugins. We’ve checked permissions on the plugin and on the WordPress user access for the site and they all appear in order.

We’d really appreciate it if you could investigate this please or at least give us an indication what could be the issue. Thanks.
