‘Missing Image’ field Error in AMP Test

    When I test amp validity then the first validation is complete but when I try for rich results, it shows invalid ‘missing image’ field error and this it can also affect traffic, my web-stories traffic is now zero, but a few days ago, amp validation is valid on both (typical, rich result) but now it is invalid, so kindly help me with this……..

  • I have the Same Problem. I think this issue comes after the web story plugin update.

    Hello @kritu19 , thank you for your topic. Your issue may be related to an issue with poster images in Web Stories version 1.23.0 which it looks like you’re currently using. We’ve recently released a fix if you could please update to version 1.23.1 it should resolve your issue. Note your story is showing with no errors in a live AMP Tester test, so I think you can safely ignore those warnings as eventually, Search Console will recrawl and the warnings should go away.

    We’ve recently released an updated version of the Web Stories plugin (v1.23.2) which includes the fix mentioned above. Please update to the new version and confirm if the issue has been resolved on your end as well. Thank you!
