I really like your plugin and service, and started using it again. Initially it worked fine, but after a few days images started not showing and the console is logging them as not found.

They’re .webp images and it’s only certain ones that stop displaying. Their fallback .jpg files display when accessed directly, but because it’s the .webp file that is supposedly missing it fails.

It’s only a few images here and there, but can’t have any images not showing. Any ideas what is going on?

    Hello,

    Thanks for coming back! ??

Ah. Let me look into webp specifically. I’ll have to run some tests on my side and see what may be happening.

I’ll keep this request open in the meantime and should be able to get back to you quickly.

    Thanks!

Thanks for looking into it, really is a puzzler.

Can’t recommend the plugin enough, but if only those missing images weren’t a problem.

So I ran some tests and webp images indeed work for me , here’es my test CDN with a webp link :

    https://w9txxqkynjmz.wpcdn.shift8cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/1.sm_.webp

Can you give me a url where the images are failing , along with a few direct links of the failing images?

I will do that, and send you soon. As I say it’s not that it’s stopped working on all webp images, just a certain few. As soon as I disable the CDN they show again.

Ok sounds good. Yeah examples of broken webp images will help us understand what is happening and hopefully we can quickly resolve for you.
